Dear Saddleback Families,

Welcome to the start of a new school year! It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I open our doors once again to our students and families. Whether you are returning or new to our school community, I want to personally extend my warmest welcome to each of you. I am so delighted that you are part of our amazing learning community. I welcome and value your positive energy and dedication to excellence in education.

The beginning of the school year is a special time. It is a time filled with hope, fresh starts, and the promise of new opportunities. Our vision and mission are the heart of our school.

Mission Statement: At Saddleback Elementary we are dedicated to providing a learning environment that emphasizes academic rigor, social-emotional development, and a positive school culture where all learners thrive because learning is required.

Vision Statement: We will create a community where each child is valued, supported, and challenged to excel academically and socially. Through innovative teaching practices and strong partnerships with families and the community, we aim to provide a well-rounded education that promotes academic excellence, character development, and social responsibility.

Families are our most important partners. Your voice matters. Your support matters. When we work together, our students thrive. Throughout the year, I encourage you to stay engaged whether by attending school events, volunteering, joining our PTO, or simply talking with your child each day about what they’re learning and how they’re feeling.
